Evaluating my second draft of my contents page

Here is the second draft of my contents page. There is a few changes that I made. I did get rid of the red cartoon lightning bolt. I felt this looked a little but too tacky. I moved the band index to where the lightning bolt was.  I feel this looks better because it looks similar to other magazine contents pages I have looked at. There is some things that I kept  similar to my original draft. The layout is very much the same. There is the same headings and image.
I also added some features to this draft. I added a little bit of some credits at the bottom of my contents page.  I found the contents page was often common to have credits on so I tried it in this draft.  I added a circle with some text in. I noted that on a lot of magazine front covers a cover line would be presented in this way. In this draft I tried to play with this idea on the contents page. Inside the red circle is the idea that readers of this magazine can subscribe to it online. I found from my research that a lot of magazine are online nowadays. I also saw on a magazine contents page an advert for an online subscription. I chose red and yellow because this was the same colour palette that I used on my front cover.

  1. I like this Hope, it's a bit different and has an interesting take on the British/indie thing. Keep justifying all your choices, I like following the process.
